Systematic and effective waste management has appeared as a severe challenge affecting many developing countries like Nigeria or India. Increased rate of urbanization and population and rapid developments are responsible for the generation of the massive amount of waste. The growing waste generation rates, the issues of finding new disposal sites, depletion of landfill space, waste disposal and management methods are hampering adequate waste management.
